Brief Description

This is a 10k/5k or both run and a 1 mile Walk in HER Shoes. All proceeds will be used to help victims of domestic violence. Courses are listed on the right side of this page.

Start/Finish Lines

The finish line is at Lion's Park as indicated on the map. The start line is behind the park. It is best to park at the back of the parking area and then follow the signs to the start line. If you need to drive to the start line, go south on the Frontage Road, then right at the first street and right on the next street.

Run both the 10k and 5k

If you would like to run both races, great! The 5k starts 1.5 hours after the 10k. This will give you time to get back to the start line and cool down. We will have special medals for all runners who do both, as well as special recognition. Since the shirts are the same, you will only get 1 shirt.

Additional Information

The 10k will start at 8:00am, the 5k at 9:30am and the 1 mile walk at 9:45am. The course is flat and the weather is usually in the low 50s. The finish line will be at the Wannatouchama Chili Cook Off. Bring the family and spend the day. All Racers get in free. This even boasts several world class chili cooks along with activities for the children and live music.
